Mike Parr is the founder of Coastal Web Marketing, bringing years of experience in the computer industry to his role as an SEO consultant. In the 80’s he fixed some of the largest computers in the world at facilities such as Social Security Administration, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, The Pentagon, AAI, Maryland National Bank and NASA. Mike was deeply immersed in the computer industry, earning a reputation as a true “computer geek” and expert. His career began in 1979 when he gained extensive experience repairing everything from small computers to supercomputers and their peripherals.

In 1991, he transitioned into small business ownership, working closely with company owners and thousands of employees, primarily focusing on training individuals and corporate teams on computer usage and software. He also had contracts to repair equipment with Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Westinghouse, NSA, and Grumman providing technical support and training. In 1993, he opened his first office in Bel Air, Maryland.

In 1997, he was VP in a local technology business operating as an Internet Service Provider offering Web Hosting and Internet dial-up to 3 counties, they taught Harford County school teachers how to use the Internet so the teachers could teach their students how to safely surf the web.

In 2007, he launched Coastal Web Marketing (formerly MParr Solutions, Inc.) with a clear mission: to help small business owners establish a strong online presence and improve their search engine rankings through the power of search engine optimization (SEO). Over the years, Coastal Web Marketing has built hundreds of websites, created LOGOs, brochures, and business cards, and trained thousands in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet classes, and more.

In January 2024, Coastal Web dropped all services to focus on SEO. With a skilled team of 10 professionals, the company offers expert SEO services and SEO-ready website design, all delivered within a reasonable timeframe.  Coastal Web Marketing has become one of the most respected names in the small business SEO sector, known for offering personalized, high-quality service.
